I like Chris Rock but he reminds me of rich white people. He can only see shit that affects HIM. Sure he talks about women positively here, but half his comedy is about how women are all a bunch of crazy bitches. So yeah man, congratulations, you're part of the problem. Don't get me wrong, he's smarter about it than say Dave Chappelle or Steve Harvey - those guys are straight up homophobic, sexist assholes. Even though I love Chappelle (I own way more of his shit than Rock!) I have to admit he was kind of a dick even before he went crazy. At least with Rock I can enjoy the first half of the show, then turn it off when he gets to the part about how much he hates his girlfriend.
I guess my point is we can't afford to tear each other down like that. I don't want to hear any more black comedians rag on Asians. I don't want to see gay men do drag in blackface (yes, it happens and it's sick). I don't want to see men talking shit about women OR vice versa. I don't even want to bag on white people any more because I want the handful of good ones to stick around. We need all the help we can get!
