If Only They Had A Mind Of Their Own

Why are women insisting we now have to watch them breast-feed? Oh, I don't know:

Most women aren't too difficult to figure out - does this sound familiar?
The center’s roughly 14 “followers” were taught to “reject the family as a social institution, to act negatively toward their spouses (men), to refuse medical help, education, work and military service,” the statement said. In essence, they were being taught disobedience toward social norms. As the statement also claimed, the center used “physical and psychological violence” to maintain control over its followers.

It certainly does sound like the same ol' story to me,...

  1. Well, from what I've seen, it's pretty obvious: they want a cookie and applause for being such great, wonderful mommies. A freaking parade for doing, you know, what female mammals have been doing since the development of mammary glands.
The rainbow has already been taken though ladies, too bad for you, bummer.

*once again making life difficult for those who would just like to get on with their lives and don't want to spare the cookie

  2. PW, you're about 85-90% cooler than the other side of the pillow, you know that?

  3. Mr. Jarrett, please don't -- as a favor. I would appreciate it greatly.

  4. http://www.bspcn.com/2009/12/31/15-greatest-lies-all-women%E2%80%99s-magazines-tell/

Now, I will admit that as a young teenager, my friend and I did indeed sneak a Cosmo here and there (hey, it's like Playboy for chicks; you don't really read it as much as try to not get caught sneaking it). But somewhere along the way one does begin to notice that these things really are full of crap (sort of like when guys finally realize that Ms. December is not going to magically appear and make out with you at prom, and if some proxy actually does, well, crabs aren't fun).
Sadly, way too many women take these stupid magazines (and tv shows, and self help books, and they all say the same damn thing) way too seriously. And they wind up only talking with other stupid women who just help back it up -- and they will gang up on anyone who tries to tell them the truth (er, ruins the vision for them or some shit).
Which is yet another reason why obnoxious broads are making a big deal about making sure everybody knows that they breastfeed their darling Trevor and Fiona, which makes them the best mommies ever! Pass the green tea and don't get your kids vaccinated because it causes autism.

And there you have it -- the world is a fucked up place.

  5. LOL PW.

Never mind. I absolutely promise that I'll never bother attempting to be nice to you again.

    Have a nice evening.

  6. Mr. Jarrett, I do not ask for people to be "nice" to me. I don't even like it -- as niceness is usually not a nice thing.
I would prefer that people try to be good instead -- irregardless of what sort of treatment that gets me.
