It's not exactly the mayor of San Francisco appointing Jim Jones, the leader of The People's Temple cult, to government - or even another mayor of San Francisco dating a cultist (and giving another cult leader a day in his honor) while endorsing gay marriage during an affair with his campaign manager's wife - but if you say so:
