The Wimps Get NewAge Stars In Their Eyes

"People will entertain the irrational when what they consider rational collapses."

-- Aurora Tower, an astrologer, admitting what she does is nuts (and TMR says her crazy clients are exactly why this country is going to Hell in a handbasket) unsurprisingly, this shameless NewAge fraud is quoted in The New York Times.

  1. if her clients are comforted by her services, why do you care? perhaps rampant intolerance is why this country is, as you wrote, going to hell in a handbasket.

  2. Because so-called "psychics" run their "businesses" in a legal grey area where they're allowed to destroy people's lives. How do you know they all get "comfort" from them? Because she says so? My, my. Considering there's nothing honest about astrology , I guess she's a great witness for truth, right?

And psychic "readings" are based on "cold reading" - that's fraud. Is it "intolerant" to be against fraud? How about superstition? Do you think we should be encouraging superstition? Is it "intolerant" to want to stop superstition?

And how is throwing money at a fraud, in a recession, going to help anyone financially? These people might as well ask their dog. At least the pooch won't charge for it.

    And fuck you.
