NewAge Sure Didn't Get Rid Of HIS Ego!!!

"The Newsom moment was like a gift from fundamentalist heaven."

-- Phillip Matier/Andrew Ross, on the "smug and cocky" appearance of San Francisco's spiritually NewAge and cult-loving mayor, Gavin Newsom, in the latest California anti-gay marriage ad, as reported on SFGate.com.

It's amazing how NewAgers never actually achieve the personal goals they claim their beliefs are supposed to help them with - yet they keep insisting that's what those beliefs do! Here's a fine example: TMR's been saying Gavin Newsom is an occultist for years now (he was even re-married by one, after divorcing and cheating with his former campaign manager's wife, in an attempt to clean up his image for a run at the Governorship) and now, of all things, it's his arrogance - the very thing his "belief system" claims to cure - that is being exploited by his enemies. A development that reveals Newsom's hypocrisy, and cognitive dissonance, in a way that's stunning. This, also, is typical of NewAgers: I mean, it's just never made sense to TMR why gays would allow a divorced, backstabbing, cheater and liar (who's doing a terrible job as mayor) to be the standard-bearer for their stance on marriage in the first place. Like NewAge itself, it just doesn't add up.

If this anti-gay marriage bill passes, based on Gavin Newsom's televised performance, it will be just the latest rebuke of a deeply-flawed man - and (more importantly) a deeply-flawed belief system - that are, both, ripe for a very-public rejection.
