Flying (Under The Radar)

"The fact that she's not allowed to do what she used to do is for the protection of the public. And I hope the public will know what they cannot do, the [naturopaths], because they are not doctors and that's important."
Hélène di Salvo, prosecutor, discussing the case of "homeopath" and "naturopath", Mitra Javanmardi, who apparently has killed a "patient" - as so many of these quacks do - before being discovered by Canada's CJAD News.

  1. This is untrue she is a very good naturopath. Much better than any docotr which prescribes drugs and sends you home.

    Thank you

  2. What do you mean "this is untrue"? What's untrue about it?

She's no different from all the other "naturopaths" with blood on their hands. They are extremely immature people, desperate for attention, with no training in anything but woo-woo nonsense, and supported by the gullible in murder. You - all - ought to be deeply ashamed. This is why I call you Nazis:

    Damn it, she's killed someone.

Have you no feelings for anything but your "beliefs" and anyone but yourselves?

    You disgust me.

  3. Every day Hundred of peoples of ANY AGE die during or after been treated by a doctor, nurse or health care person and no-one is accused or charged.
Dr. Mitra Javanmardi had treated and provided care and attention to thousand and many are completely cure and healthy.
I believe that when we have a long history of hart problems and we are at a very advance age
and we have no other alternative we should not blame or accuse the last doctor that has provided us with the best care and attention that (in this case) She ad.
Dr Javamardi has help us to overcome health problems that could not be solved otherwise,
her knowledge care and attention is unic and
by inculpating her for the death of someone
that had a chronic problem with no alternative
    is not justice.
We need more Dr Javanmardi to provide cure, care
and attention not only to you and me but also to doctors, lawyer and to the justice system.

  4. I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. After going through Hell and back with different mainstream treatments, I went to Montreal to see her. She transformed me from a lifeless being to an energetic, beautiful and healthy 58 year old woman. I know some people can't understand this because it takes a lot of courae to think out side of the box however, I have dealt with many specialists who had no diagnostic ability. Mitra did. I owe my life to her and I am proud to be able to share this with you. She is a caring, intelligent and consciantious human being.

  5. Anonymous and Forouz,

You are two people who can't spell, defending a woman who can't practice medicine. I guess if I live long enough I'll see everything. Listen to me:

    SHE KILLED A MAN.

Drop me another line when you can "think outside the box" enough to gain some human emotions for someone other than yourselves.

  6. Hey Mr. Know it all...Mitra Javanmardi, did not kill a man. He died of a heart attack. He could have just as easily died whether she had treated him or not. She is a naturopathic physican aka DOCTOR. Just because she is not allowed to call herself as such in Quebec doesn't take away from her training. She has helped me and and countless others. Before you jump to conclusions, to justify your unfounded beliefs, why don't you get a little more information!!!

  7. Anon 8:59,

If you'd look around this site a little bit more, you'd see that naturopathic physicians AREN'T doctors - they're quacks - and they're patients are always dropping dead while their "treating" them. You'd also see I was married to one of them:

    http://themachoresponse.blogspot.com/2008/10/i-was-married-to-murderess.html

These people are narcissistic psychopaths, wallowing in the attention of gullible people like you until they do something wrong, and either A) you're dead, or B) you're so embarrassed (for being taken in by them) that you say nothing about how they fucked you up. I'd suggest, rather than just looking at this one post, you go back to the beginning of the blog and walk your way forward to see the kind of *information* NewAgers won't tell you - like how they have no medical credentials and, thus, kill people on a regular basis.

You say this guy could've died "whether she had treated him or not" but he didn't. He died while she was "treating" him, which is typical for quacks.

And another thing: if she's not allowed to call herself a doctor in Quebec then she was breaking the law. That makes her a criminal and a liar. How much respect does she have for medicine, her patients, the law, and Quebec, if she's willing to do that? If you lied on a regular basis - based your career on lying - how much credibility would you deserve? That's the kind of straightforward question NewAgers hate because you know the answer: none. Your beliefs don't make you special and they don't entitle you to special treatment. People can believe anything - as you obviously do - but, as Abraham Lincoln said, just because you may want to call a tail a leg doesn't make it so. This woman's not a doctor. She's not even a "naturopath" because there is no such thing - it's a made up name. She's a quack, which a real word that describes a real phenomena:

People, filled with delusions of grandure (sp?) who pretend to be doctors.

And, finally, you say she has helped you. Well (throwing your own argument back at you) you could've been helped by almost anyone, but you've chosen to go to a person who kills. But that's not the choice I, or even most people, make and we're fine. So the question becomes, what is it about bucking medicine - which, unlike pseudoscience, has extended our life spans and our quality of life by leaps and bounds - that rocks your boat? Why must you insist on being a pain in the ass - and putting other people's lives at risk by your example? Don't you care about anyone else - or is it all about you?

I think, based on the answers I recieved so far, I know the answer to that one already.

  8. Dear Cracked,

You seem to harbor a great degree of anger and vitriol towards Dr. Javanmardi and Naturopaths in general. From looking over your blog, it seems that much of it is misplaced anger you have towards your ex, her lover and her racist family. Although it sounds horrible, it gives you no right to turn around and spew the same type of prejudice that was direct at you.

I am not here to defend Dr. Javanmardi, as I am not familiar with the details of her case and am only passingly acquainted with her. I am hear to defend naturopathy and naturopaths,as I am one.

Your ex-wife does not sound like a naturopath as I know them. Many people call themselves Naturopaths, especially in unregulated jurisdictions like Quebec, without having the training or qualifications. For your edification, naturopathic medicine has a long historical tradition dating back to Hippocrates and Paracelsus, but took its modern form starting in the 18th century in Europe, espousing 'Nature Cure'; using healthy food, fresh air, exercise and herbal extracts to bring about a natural cure for many ailments. I will not go into the rest of its history. Read 'the Nature Doctors' if you'd like to learn more. I will tell you that today naturopathic medicine is taught at 7 colleges in North American, 5 in the US and 2 in Canada. The 4 year post-graduate program divides itself between the teaching of basic medical sciences and diagnostic and therapeutics that fall under the banner of naturopathic medicine (such as botanical medicine, nutritional medicine, physical medicine, homeopathy, acupuncture and Asian medicine and basic counseling). Students go through intensive training in all these subjects and treat patients, at teaching clinics operated by the individual schools, in their 4th year. Students are required to take licensing exams after their 2nd and 4th years of study before they are able to practice as licensed naturoapthic doctors.

Many states and provinces require licensing for naturopaths to practice. Unfortunately, other jurisdictions do not, which opens the door to anyone wishing to put up a sign and call themselves doctor. Dr. Javanmardi is not one of these false practitioners.

Mr. Crack MC, although your ignorance is glaring it is understandable, as is your anger. However, your accusation and judgment of an entire profession with highly inflamed language like 'murderer' and 'Nazi' is unconscionable, libelous and irresponsible in the extreme. I hope you do not see this post as an attack, because I truly hope you take the time to discover more about this profession you so utterly revile. It is not perfect, not miraculous, and definitely not 'New Age'. It is a melding of centuries of traditional healing practices with modern understanding and research into health and disease. And it helps people!!

Why not check out the website for my alma mater, The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, http://www.ccnm.edu/. I am not their spokesperson, but I do teach in the clinic.

  10. LOL!
Why I expected more from you I don't know. Your response shows your true colours. I think, my friend, you are the foul one.
    'Nuff said.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Oh, and one more thing:

I always think it speaks so well of you "healer" types when you find someone who you know has suffered a murder at the hands of your colleagues and you come off all snotty and snarky if they don't leap in your arms with gratitude for doing what you do. You wonderful people always reveal yourselves as prime examples of compassion to the world.

At least, to those who will risk doing what you say, and/or are gullible enough to pay you for it.

Excuse me if I - now a staunch anti-cultist - won't join in this particular love-fest but, as you can tell from the three dead bodies I've personally got now on my plate (four, if you want to count your hero, Dr. Javanmardi) I've felt quite enough of your cold, cold embrace.

And I don't know why but - wow - your example ain't doing too much to change that.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I don't really know how to respond to your comments. You have quite the grudge and I do not believe reason or logic could penetrate that wall you've erected. You mention, what?, three examples of what you call "murder" at the hands of natural "healers". Who knows what the facts around the cases are? And that is your reason for a crusade against naturopaths, alternative practitioners, or whoever else stands in for your ex-wife & company?

If you want to talk about "murder"--and I have no desire to vilify allopathic doctors--consider that death due to iatrogenic causes (i.e. adverse drug reaction, unnecessary surgery and other doctor mistakes) in the U.S. hovers around 200,000 - 300,000 per year.

Your sanctimonious bullshit just doesn't wash. I never trust anyone who talks in absolutes. Those are the types who are either trying to pull the wool over your eyes or have already blinded themselves. So you once followed the words of some natural healers and were burned. Now you've traded one "cult", as you put it, for another; the flip side of the same coin. Sound and fury signifying nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  13. And I don't know why I'm talking to you either because any "naturopath" who dares bring up "logic or reason" is really too out there for me to take seriously. Let's see what we've got in your latest missive:

Since you're stuck on my three murders - not "murders" - you've proven you didn't look at the rest of the site, where there are untold numbers of killers documented and tons of articles about how and why this nonsense happens. What's the matter MZ? Don't want to know what you don't know? Or maybe you can't face understanding the class of people you actually are? You do know there's a thing called "quackery" right? And there are these people called "quacks" right? Or do you think they're just made-up words, like "naturopath", that don't apply to you, though you hold the same beliefs they do?

To point at actual doctors is no defense - it's an attempt to create a diversion away from discussing quacks. If you want to discuss mistakes real doctors make, then I'd advise you to go to sites where real doctors are and take it up with them. I can point you to a few if you'd like, but I should remind you that real doctors read this site, too - to see what kind of nonsense they have to deal with - that's how "loony" what I'm doing is. My expertise is from having been married to a NewAge killer - I've seen the mental processes you guys use up close (like trying to divert attention to what doctors do to stop people from looking at you) where most people only know about it from paranormal TV shows or some yahoo babbling on PBS. THEY never discuss the downsides. THEY never discuss the deaths. THEY never discuss the "practitioners" without real credentials. THEY never discuss the "doctors" who lose the plot of medicine. I do, and that's because I've seen it all and suffered the consequences.

And BTW, if you HAD read the site, you'd know I've NEVER "once followed the words of some natural healers", so you're talking out of your ass again. I've NEVER been into any of it. It wasn't even on my radar, except when my wife let some bullshit slip and I was like "what the hell are you talking about?" In other words, I had been watching this shit innocently, as everyone else has - ignorantly, really - and, like most people affected by it, didn't bother to look into it until the madness erupted on my front door. That's why people like me bother people like you so much: we're talking out of turn. You guys can't stand anybody questioning you, asking you pointed questions, or demanding to see what you don't know - which is usually a lot. You're quacks, and the longer people stay clueless about you, the better.

I dare you to go to websites with real doctors who challenge what you do, and debate with THEM, because they'll hound you until they die of laughter. That's why you're here - you think I'm some kind of low-hanging fruit - but fuck you: you don't even have the balls to see what I offer. That's why you don't want to read about other quacks:

It would be too much like looking in a mirror.

  14. The fact is many medical doctors are also killing patients through misdiagnosis and not helping their patients fast enough when they do have a serious condition. We just don't here about it as often because these doctors are protected and in their case ... they are regulated and therefore we must assume that they are doing everything right and by the book. Ha Ha Ha. How can the average medical doctor see a patient within 10 min. and properly diagnose anyways. A large percentage of them do not order the right blood test, right X-rays or do the right physical examination until it's too late.
Unfortunately, in Quebec the Colleges des Medecin is controlling who and how they are going to regulate the other professionals. If they would take the time to educate themselves on what the naturopaths do and especially the professionals(naturopathic doctors) who study 4 years of naturopathic medecine in an accredited school this after they have already studied 5 years pre-medical courses.
In Quebec, it is time to regulate naturopaths and at the very least the naturopathic doctors who have studied 9-10 years just like the medical doctors!!! It is about time that people know that these professionals need to be regulated so that they could use the tools that they have been taught to use such as: the right to order laboratory blood tests and X-rays. Most people don't even know that they have also studied the conventional medecine as well, just like the medical doctor, so they don't intervene with any medecine already prescribed from a prior medical doctor.
I encourage anyone who does not know about these professionals to educate themselves about them and they will see that they can help so many people through prevention and without the use of medecine when it is NOT necessary.

I know - this blog helped bust one (see "Dr. Robert Wohlfahrt") but what does that have to do with killer quacks? You people amaze me. You're a person who can't spell, who's gotten a silly idea in your head (Quackery is o.k.) and are now starting to advocate for it, like it should be obvious - when all that's obvious is you can't spell and have gotten a silly idea in your head. Look at you - calling these people "professionals" right after you admit they aren't regulated - confused? Maybe just a bit.

Face it: you don't know what you're talking about and have let a bunch of liars dupe you out of your time and money. Feel lucky you're still alive and go read Panda Bear, M.D.:

He's a good doctor who won't steer you wrong.

And stop being a dummy: wolves in sheep's clothing take advantage of that. Try to be smarter. Read a dictionary. Read more than one fucking page of this blog and think you've got enough to make your mind up about it or goofy "naturopaths". Go to this address and see what an idiot you've been:

    http://themachoresponse.blogspot.com/2009/04/watch-listen-and-if-its-possible-learn.html

Being stupid - and prejudiced against reason - ain't no virtue, kids.

  16. A.nonymous I. said,

I know exactly what I'm talking about and noticed that you are also "a bit" confused. Let me remind you that in many states in the U.S. and provinces in Canada, there are naturopaths and there are doctors of naturopathic medecine ...all unfortunately placed in the same category of naturopaths! Years of education and pratical training is the difference between the two categories. For those areas that these individuals are "regulated", they are considered to be "professionals".

By the way, my blog or your your blog ( or what ever!) didn't help bust anyone as you put it! ( Dr. Robert Wohlfahrt created his own problems).

I'll consider reading some of the inserts from Panda Bear , M.D. as you have suggested but don't convince me to be smarter by reading a dictionary.

One more thing...I'm not a writer (so I'm allowed to make mistakes)...I'm a "professional".

    Thank you

  19. Listen, I don't care how "nice" anyone is personally:

Trying to keep the truth from others is evil, period.

Just because this woman "believes" certain things makes her no less so. NewAgers are almost always "nice" people, but they never let a little thing like the facts, or the truth, stop them from killing people. This blog is dedicated to bringing this fact to the public. Killers are killers, and even Charles Manson has followers who love him and think he's cool. So what? Ethics and morals say we shun him and keep him locked up forever.

Use your head. Javanmardi will stop your heart. And she'll be "nice" about it the whole time.

Look up homeopathy, naturopathy, and NewAge, on this blog to find more tales of these oh so "nice" killers.

I found your site and can't believe what this guy wrote!!!
The guy died BECAUSE she performed procedures reserved to doctors, and there is a reason you must be a doctor to perform these procedures.
MZ gave a very good description of my perception of this type of alternative medicine which has been around for centuries but one shouldn't die at the hands of a naturopath.

She may be a very good naturopath but the law would not be going after her if all was legit! She played Doctor and was caught due to the death of her patient.

From what I read in the papers, this is not the first time she and her practice is in trouble with the law.
